Pansenti is a new software company developing scalable sensor network middleware solutions based on the Lightweight Compute Cloud (LCC) concept. Pansenti’s flagship product is called Syntro, an open-source, LCC implementation. Syntro simplifies the collection, management, processing and presentation of data of all kinds and can scale from a single processor to systems consisting of thousands of processors, potentially distributed over large geographical areas. Syntro has a very small processing footprint and so does not need “big iron” servers to be effective. Almost any processor can participate in a Syntro cloud, from small microcontrollers perhaps performing simple sensing functions up to powerful processors running multi-stream video analysis applications.

Examples of applications include environmental sensing, security and surveillance, real-time intelligent tracking systems and UAV management and coordination. Pansenti can provide customized closed source proprietary solutions based on the techniques used in our open source technology.
